Jeanette has over seventeen years of production experience working in the film, TV, and music video industries. She began her career working with the non-profit foundation Dignity of Man on a Project Freedom music video entitled “Kolorblynd”. It was a project created to give youth a voice in the community and mentor them to work in the film/TV field.

Jeanette's love of travel and cultural diversity brought her to study at UCLA in the World Arts and Cultures Department. She took a leave of absence in 1995 in order to accept a job at Sony Pictures Imageworks as Visual Effects Coordinator on “James and the Giant Peach”. This leap would give her the technical foundation for the new digital mediums used in filmmaking today. Her work at Sony continued for two years, working on such projects as “Money Train” and “Michael”.

In April 1997, Jeanette took a position at Mill Film in London as a VFX Associate Producer. This opportunity of working abroad gave her the beginnings of working in film on a global level. During her two years there, she helped to set up a new film division and worked on “Lost in Space”, “Waking Ned Devine”, “Enemy of the State”, “Hilary and Jackie”, and “Still Crazy”.

Since establishing CatchLight in 1999 she has served as an executive producer for romantic comedies “In the Weed” and “Amy’s Orgasm” and Producer for the documentaries “Red, White and Buddha”, and “World Festival of Sacred Music”, and feature films “Break a Leg”, and “Heart of the Beholder”. As a gun for hire line producer she has worked on several independent features and projects including “Krews”, “Rings” which was picked up by Dreamworks, and “Six Billion Paths to Peace” with the Shinnyo-en Foundation. She has appeared on such film panels as at the 2000 Pusan International Film Festival in South Korea and the Thai Film Panel at Sony Pictures.

Rick’s experience in the film industry started in the theatrical arts. While studying Theatre at California State University Northridge, he collaborated with directors, actors and technicians that would lead him to independent theatre companies. He would eventually find a home at the critically acclaimed The Road Theatre Company that is housed in the Lankershim Arts Center in NoHo Theatre District.

During his time there he worked closely with Taylor Gilbert and expanded his knowledge of theatre. While actively working with The Road Theatre Company, Rick was the Supervising Producer on productions of “Vig”, “Freak of Nature” and “Pirates”. He also served as Assistant Director on productions of “The Chisholm Trail Went Through Here”, “Slumber Party” and “My Last Confession”.

Rick’s background in Theatre led him to film production. He started in the industry by working on “Speed”. During the production of “Speed”, he worked closely with Producer Ian Bryce and established a long working relationship with Ian. Rick went on to work on blockbusters like “Twister”, “Saving Private Ryan” and “The Perfect Storm”.

Wishing to become more directly involved in the projects, Rick looked to independent feature film production. He joined the CatchLight family over 8 years ago. In the true “indie” spirit, Rick has worn many “hats” on CatchLight’s various projects. Including UPM, Associate Producer, and Line Producer on projects such as “Amy’s Orgasm”, “Break A Leg” “Heart of The Beholder”, “Lesser of Three Evils”, “Rings” and “Krews”. Rick has provided production services for various commercials, videos and corporate videos. Rick and Jeanette work as a team creating and producing the many projects CatchLight has in it’s library.
